About us
Altermatt Farms LLC is a family owned and operated business in Macomb, Michigan since 1960. Prior to farming at our current location, our Grandfather and our dad farmed for many years in Warren, Michigan. We have evolved from primarily being a wholesale produce farm that shipped our produce to the Eastern Market, to a farm that now has a retail greenhouse and an open air farm market where we sell our products. Our greenhouse opens in the early spring, we sell specialty combination baskets and planters as well as many different types of annuals and perennials. Our farm market opens early August and this is where we sell our home grown vegetables which we pick daily.
